§ 157-18. Remedies of an obligee of authority.

§ 157‑18.  Remediesof an obligee of authority.

An obligee of the authority shall have the right in addition to allother rights which may be conferred on such obligee subject only to anycontractual restrictions binding upon such obligee:

(1)        By mandamus, suit, action or proceeding in law or equity(all of which may be joined in one action) to compel the authority, and thecommissioners, officers, agents or employees thereof to perform each and everyterm, provision and covenant contained in any contract of the authority, and torequire the carrying out of any or all covenants and agreements of theauthority and the fulfillment of all duties imposed upon the authority by thisArticle.

(2)        By suit, action or proceeding in equity to enjoin any actsor things which may be unlawful, or the violation of any of the rights of suchobligee of the authority.

(3)        By suit, action or proceeding in any court of competentjurisdiction to cause possession of any housing project or any part thereof tobe surrendered to any obligee having the right to such possession pursuant toany contract of the authority. (1935, c. 456, s. 18.)
