§ 15A-737. Extension of time of commitment; adjournment.

§15A‑737.  Extension of time of commitment; adjournment.

If the accused is not arrestedunder warrant of the Governor by the expiration of the time specified in thewarrant or bond, a judge or magistrate may discharge him or may recommit himfor a further period not to exceed 60 days, or a judge or magistrate may againtake bail for his appearance and surrender, as provided in G.S. 15A‑736,but within a period not to exceed 60 days after the date of such new bond.
