§ 15C‑11. Limitedliability.
The State, agencies of NorthCarolina, and their officers, officials, employees, and agents, both past andpresent, in their official and individual capacities, shall be immune and heldharmless from any liability in any action brought by or on behalf of any personinjured or harmed by the actions or inactions of these entities and individualsin implementing this Chapter. However, if an employee's actions resulting inharm were not within the course and scope of the employee's duties, then thatemployee may be subject to suit as an individual to the extent permitted by thelaws of the State of North Carolina.
