§ 160A‑226.1. Discounts authorized.

The council is authorized to establish a schedule of discounts to beapplied to assessments paid before the expiration of 30 days from the date thatnotice is published of confirmation of the assessment roll pursuant to G.S.160A‑229. Such a schedule of discounts may be established even though itwas not included among the terms of payment as specified in the preliminaryassessment resolution or assessment resolution. The amount of any discount maynot exceed thirty percent (30%). (1983, c. 381, s. 4.)
