§ 160A‑297. Streets under authority of Board of Transportation.

(a)        A city shall not be responsible for maintaining streets orbridges under the authority and control of the Board of Transportation, andshall not be liable for injuries to persons or property resulting from anyfailure to do so.

(b)        Nothing in this Article shall authorize any city tointerfere with the rights and privileges of the Board of Transportation withrespect to streets and bridges under the authority and control of the Board ofTransportation.
