§ 160A‑315. Billing and collecting agents for certain sewer systems.

Any city that maintains and operates a sewage collection and disposalsystem but does not maintain and operate a water distribution system isauthorized to contract with the owner or operator of the water distributionsystem operating within the area served by the city sewer system to act as thebilling and collection agent of the city for any charges, rents, or penaltiesimposed by the city for sewer services.
