§ 160A‑349.10.  Power to condemn land; procedurefor condemnation; board incorporated.

If it becomes necessary to acquire additional lands for cemeterypurposes and the board cannot agree with the owners upon the price thereof, theboard shall have the power to condemn the lands for cemetery purposes, and inso doing the provisions of Chapter 40A of the General Statutes shall befollowed as nearly as possible, and to that end, and for that purpose, theboard of trustees of any cemetery acquired under this Article shall be deemedand considered a corporation and a body politic.
