§ 160A‑638. Purpose of the Authority.

The purpose of the authority is to enhance the quality of life in itsterritorial jurisdiction by promoting the development of sound transportationsystems which provide transportation choices, enhance mobility, accessibility,and safety, encourage economic development and sound growth patterns, andprotect the man‑made and natural environments of the region.
