§ 162A‑91.  Taxesauthorized.

The governing body of a county water and sewer district may levyproperty taxes within the district in order to finance the operation andmaintenance of the district's water system or sewer system or both and in orderto finance debt service on any general obligation bonds or notes issued by thedistrict. No voter approval is necessary in order for such taxes to be levied. (1977, c. 466, s. 1.)
