§ 163‑165.5A.  (Effective until January 1, 2012)Ballot instructions in English and Spanish.

In every county or municipality where the Hispanic population exceedssix percent (6%), in accordance with the most recent decennial federal census,all instructions to the voter for ballots shall be printed in both English andSpanish. The State Board of Elections shall prepare a Spanish translation ofballot instructions for local boards of elections. (2001‑288, ss. 1, 2.)
