§ 163-166.1. Duties of county board of elections. - North Carolina Statutes

§ 163‑166.1.  Duties ofcounty board of elections.

The county board of electionsshall:

(1)        Provide for thetimely delivery to each voting place of the supplies, records, and equipmentnecessary for the conduct of the election.

(2)        Ensure that adequateprocedures are in place at each voting place for a safe, secure, fair, andhonest election.

(3)        Respond to precinctofficials' questions and problems where necessary.

(4)        Provide adequatetechnical support for the voting system, which shall be done in conjunctionwith the State Board of Elections.  (2001‑460, s. 3; 2009‑541, s. 21.)
