§ 163‑82.15A.  Administrative change ofregistration when county line is adjusted.

When a boundary between counties is established by legislation or underG.S. 153A‑18, the Executive Director shall direct the county boardsof elections involved to administratively change the voter registration of anyvoter whose county of residence is altered by the establishment of theboundary. The voter shall not be required to submit a new application toregister, and the provisions of G.S. 163‑57 shall apply to the determinationof residency. The Executive Director shall prescribe a method of notifying thevoter of the change of county registration, the correct precinct, and otherrelevant information. (2005‑428, s. 3(a).)
