§ 165‑29. Interested commissioners or employees.

No commissioner or employee of any authority shall acquire anyinterest, direct or indirect, in any veterans' recreation project or in anyproperty included or planned to be included in any project, nor shall he haveany interest, direct or indirect, in any contract or proposed contract formaterials or services to be furnished or used in connection with any suchproject. If any commissioner or employee of an authority owns or controls aninterest, direct or indirect, in any property included or planned to beincluded in any veterans' recreation project, he shall immediately disclose thesame in writing  to the authority and such disclosure shall be entered upon theminutes of the authority. Failure so to disclose such interest shall constitutemisconduct in office. (1945, c. 460, s. 7.)
