§ 165‑36. Conveyance, lease or transfer of property by a city or county to an authority.

Any city or county, in order to provide for the construction,reconstruction, improvement, repair or management of any veterans' recreationproject, or in order to accomplish any of the purposes of this Article, may,with or without consideration or for a nominal consideration, lease, sell,convey or otherwise transfer to an authority within the territorial boundariesof which such city or county it is wholly or partly located, any real, personalor mixed property, and in connection with any such transaction, the authorityinvolved may accept such lease, transfer, assignment and conveyance, and binditself to the performance and observation of any agreements and conditionsattached thereto. Any city or county may purchase real property and convey orcause same to be conveyed to an authority. (1945, c. 460, s. 14.)
