§ 166A‑62. EmergencyManagement Training and Standards Advisory Board.
(a) The Secretary ofCrime Control and Public Safety shall establish and appoint the EmergencyManagement Training and Standards Advisory Board to provide oversight oftraining and certification programs established pursuant to this Article.
(b) The composition ofthe Board shall include emergency management subject matter expertsrepresentative of the State, its political subdivisions, and private industry.
(c) The duties of theBoard shall include:
(1) Oversight of theEmergency Management Certification Program.
(2) Review ofapplications for certification.
(3) Issuance ofcertifications at least semiannually.
(d) The Board shallmeet at least semiannually and at other times at the discretion of theSecretary. (2009‑192,s. 2.)
