§ 20‑115.  Scope andeffect of regulations in this title.

It shall be unlawful for anyperson to drive or move or for the owner to cause or knowingly permit to bedriven or moved on any highway any vehicle or vehicles of a size or weightexceeding the limitations stated in this title, or any vehicle or vehicleswhich are not so constructed or equipped as required in this title, or therules and regulations of the Department of Transportation adopted pursuantthereto and the maximum size and weight of vehicles herein specified shall belawful throughout this State, and local authorities shall have no power orauthority to alter said limitations except as express authority may be grantedin this Article.
