§ 20‑195.  Cooperationbetween Patrol and local officers.

The Secretary of Crime Controland Public Safety with the  approval of the Governor, through the State HighwayPatrol Division, shall encourage the cooperation between the Highway Patrol andthe several municipal and county peace officers of the State for theenforcement of all traffic laws and the proper administration of the UniformDrivers' License Law, and arrangements for compensation of special servicesrendered by such local officers out of the funds allotted to the State HighwayPatrol Division may be made, subject to the approval of the Director of theBudget.
