§ 20‑37.8. Fraudulentuse prohibited.
(a) It shall beunlawful for any person to use a false or fictitious name or give a false orfictitious address in any application for a special identification card orknowingly to make a false statement or knowingly conceal a material fact orotherwise commit a fraud in any such application or to obtain or possess morethan one such card for a fraudulent purpose or knowingly to permit or allowanother to commit any of the foregoing acts.
(b) It shall beunlawful for any person to present, display, or use a special identificationcard which contains a false or fictitious name in the commission or attemptedcommission of a felony.
(c) A violation ofsubsection (a) of this section shall constitute a Class 2 misdemeanor. Aviolation of subsection (b) of this section shall constitute a Class I felony. (1979,c. 603, s. 1; 1993, c. 539, s. 326; 1994, Ex. Sess., c. 24, s. 14(c); 1999‑299,s. 2.)
