§ 20‑7.6.  Powers andduties of the License to Give Trust Fund Commission.

The License to Give Trust FundCommission has the following powers and duties:

(1)        Establish generalpolicies and guidelines for awarding grants‑in‑aid to nonprofitentities to conduct education and awareness activities on organ and tissuedonation and advance care planning.

(2)        Accept gifts orgrants from other sources to further the purposes of the License to Give TrustFund. Such gifts or grants shall be transmitted to the State Treasurer forcredit to the Fund.

(3)        Hire staff orcontract for other expertise for the administration of the Fund. Expensesrelated to staffing shall be paid from the License to Give Trust Fund. (2004‑189, s. 4(b).)
