§25‑3‑107. Instrument payable in foreign money.
Unless the instrumentotherwise provides, an instrument that states the amount payable in foreignmoney may be paid in the foreign money or in an equivalent amount in dollarscalculated by using the current bank‑offered spot rate at the place ofpayment for the purchase of dollars on the day on which the instrument is paid.(1899, c. 733, s. 6; Rev., s. 2155; C.S., s. 2987; 1965, c. 700, s. 1;1995, c. 232, s. 1.)
