§ 28C-4. Notice to interested persons.

§28C‑4.  Notice to interested persons.

Upon the filing of theinventory by the temporary receiver, the judge shall issue a notice recitingthe substance of the complaint and the appointment and action of the temporaryreceiver. This notice  shall be addressed to such absentee, to all persons whowould have an interest in the estate of such absentee if he were deceased, toall persons alleged in the complaint to claim an interest in the absentee'sproperty, and to all whom it may concern. It shall direct them to file in thecourt within a time fixed by the judge a written statement of the nature andextent of the interest claimed in the property, and to appear at a time andplace named and show cause why a permanent receiver of the absentee's propertyshould not be appointed to hold and dispose of the property under theprovisions of this Chapter. The return day of the notice shall be not less than30 nor more than 60 days after its date unless otherwise ordered by the judge. (1965,c. 815, s. 1; 1973, c. 1329, s. 2.)
