§41‑8.  Collateral warranties abolished; warranties by life tenants deemedcovenants.

All collateral warranties areabolished; and all warranties made by any tenant for life of lands, tenementsor hereditaments, the same descending or coming to any person in reversion orremainder, shall be void; and all such warranties, as aforesaid, shall bedeemed  covenants only, and bind the covenanter in like manner as otherobligations.
