§ 42A-26. Violation of court order.

§ 42A‑26.  Violation ofcourt order.

If a tenant fails to removepersonal property from a residential property subject to a vacation rentalafter the court has entered an order of eviction, the landlord or real estatebroker shall have the same rights as provided in G.S. 42‑36.2(b) as ifthe sheriff had not removed the tenant's property. The failure of a tenant orthe guest of a tenant to vacate a residential property in accordance with acourt order issued pursuant to G.S. 42A‑24(d) shall constitute a criminaltrespass under G.S. 14‑159.13. (1999‑420, s. 1.)
