§45‑21.48.  Validation of certain foreclosure sales that did not complywith posting requirement.

A sale of real property madeon or before July 2, 1985, under a power of sale contained in a mortgage ordeed of trust, for which a notice of the sale was not posted at the courthousedoor for 20 days immediately preceding the sale, as required by G.S. 45‑21.17(1),but was posted at the courthouse door for at least 15 days immediatelypreceding the sale, is declared to be a valid sale to the same extent as if thenotice of the sale had been posted for 20 days; unless an action to set asidethe foreclosure sale is not barred by the statute of limitations and iscommenced on or before October 1, 1985. (1985, c. 567, s. 2.)
