§47‑12.2.  Subscribing witness incompetent when grantee or beneficiary.

The execution of an instrumentmay not be proved for registration by a subscribing witness who is the granteeor beneficiary therein nor by proof of his signature as such subscribing witness.Nothing in this section invalidates the registration of any instrumentregistered prior to April 9, 1935.
