§ 47‑42.  Attestation ofbank conveyances by secretary or cashier.

(a)        Repealed by SessionLaws 2002‑26, s. 1.

(b)        All deeds andconveyances executed prior to February 14, 1939, by banking corporations, wherethe cashier of said banking corporation has attested said instruments, whichdeeds and conveyances are otherwise regular, are hereby validated.

(c)        All deeds andconveyances executed by a banking corporation on or after October 1, 1999, thatcomplied with G.S. 47‑18.3 are hereby validated. (1939, c. 20, s. 21/2; 1957,c. 783, s. 4; 2002‑26, s. 1.)
