§47‑81.2.  Before army, etc., officers.

In all cases where instrumentsand writings have been proved or acknowledged before any officer of the army ofthe United States or United States marine corps having the rank of captain orhigher, before any officer of the United States navy or coast guard having therank of lieutenant, senior grade, or higher, or any officer of the UnitedStates merchant marine having the rank of lieutenant, senior grade, or higher,such proofs or acknowledgments, where valid in other respects, are herebyratified, confirmed and declared valid.
