§47B‑5.  Extension of time for registering notice of claims which Chapterwould otherwise bar.

If the 30‑year periodspecified in this Chapter shall have expired prior to October 1, 1973, noright, estate, interest, claim or charge shall be barred by G.S. 47B‑2until October 1, 1976, and any right, estate, interest, claim or charge thatwould otherwise be barred by G.S. 47B‑2 may be preserved and kepteffective by the registration of a notice of claim as set forth in G.S. 47B‑4of this Chapter prior to October 1, 1976.
