§48‑3‑610.  Collateral agreements.

If a person executing aconsent and the prospective adoptive parent or parents enter into an agreementregarding visitation, communication, support, and any other rights and dutieswith respect to the minor, this agreement shall not be a condition precedent tothe consent itself, failure to perform shall not invalidate a consent alreadygiven, and the agreement itself shall not be enforceable.
