§49‑3.  Place of birth of child no consideration.

The provisions of this Articleshall apply whether such child shall have been begotten or shall have been bornwithin or without the State of North Carolina: Provided, that the child to besupported is a bona fide resident of this State at the time of the institutionof any proceedings under this Article.
