§ 50A-304. Temporary visitation.

§50A‑304.  Temporary visitation.

(a)        A court of thisState which does not have jurisdiction to modify a child‑custodydetermination may issue a temporary order enforcing:

(1)        A visitationschedule made by a court of another state; or

(2)        The visitation provisionsof a child‑custody determination of another state that does not providefor a specific visitation schedule.

(b)        If a court of thisState makes an order under subdivisions (a)(2) of this section, it shallspecify in the order a period that it considers adequate to allow thepetitioner to obtain an order from a court having jurisdiction under thecriteria specified in Part 2. The order remains in effect until an order isobtained from the other court or the period expires. (1999‑223,s. 3.)
