§53‑186.  Commissioner to issue subpoenas, conduct hearings, givepublicity to investigations, etc.

The Commissioner of Banksshall have the power and duty to issue subpoenas including subpoenas ducestecum, and compel attendance of witnesses, administer oaths, conduct hearingsand transcribe testimony in making the investigations and conducting thehearings provided for herein or in the other discharge of his duties, and togive such publicity to his investigations and findings as he may deem best forthe public interest.
