§53‑259.  Application of rules.

In addition to the provisionsof this Article, authorized lenders shall comply with rules adopted by theCommissioner that are reasonable and necessary to effectuate the purposes ofthis Article and to protect the public interest.  Provided, however, thatprovisions in Chapters 24 or 45 of the General Statutes and the rules adoptedunder those Chapters that conflict with this Article shall not apply to reversemortgage transactions governed by this Article.
