§53‑285.  Cease and desist orders.

If the Commissioner determinesthat a person required to be licensed under this Article has violated thisArticle or rules adopted pursuant to it, then the Commissioner may, upon noticeand opportunity for hearing in accordance with Article 3A of Chapter 150B ofthe General Statutes, order the person to cease and desist from the violationsand to comply with this Article. The Commissioner may enforce compliance withan order issued pursuant to this section by the imposition and collection ofcivil penalties authorized under this Article. (1997‑391, s. 1.)
