§ 53-397. Disposition of books and records.

§ 53‑397.  Dispositionof books and records.

All fiduciary records relatingto the administration of particular accounts shall be turned over to thesuccessors in charge of administration of the accounts. All other books,papers, and records of a State trust company that has been finally liquidatedshall be deposited by the receiver in the office of the clerk of the superiorcourt of the county in which the action is pending, or in any other place as inthe clerk's judgment, after consultation with the Commissioner, will providefor the proper safekeeping and protection of those books, papers, and records.Such books, papers, and records shall be held subject to the orders of theclerk of the superior court of the county in which the action is pending, includingorders necessary for preserving the confidentiality of any information relatingto accounts contained in those books, papers, and records.
