§53‑76.  Depositor not relieved from exercising diligence as to errors.

Nothing in the precedingsection [G.S. 53‑75] shall be construed to relieve the depositor from theduty now imposed by law of exercising due diligence in the examination of suchaccount and vouchers, if any, when rendered by the bank. (1929,c. 188, s. 2; 1981, c. 599, s. 19.)
