§54B‑267. Establishment of branches by out‑of‑stateassociations.
Any out‑of‑stateassociation that meets the requirements of this Article may establish a branchwithin North Carolina either by (i) de novo entry; (ii) the purchase of anexisting branch; (iii) the purchase of all or substantially all of the assetsof a State association located in North Carolina; or (iv) merger orconsolidation.
