§ 54C‑11.  Commissionerof Banks to consider application.

Upon receipt of an applicationto organize and establish a savings bank, the Commissioner of Banks shallexamine or cause to be examined all the relevant facts connected with theformation of the proposed savings bank. If it appears to the Commissioner ofBanks that the proposed savings bank has complied with all the requirements setforth in this Chapter and the rules for the formation of a savings bank and isotherwise lawfully entitled to be organized and established as a savings bank,the Commissioner of Banks shall present the application to the Commission forits consideration.
