§ 55-17-05. Curative statute.

§55‑17‑05.  Curative statute.

All deeds, conveyances andother instruments executed prior to the effective date of this Chapter andvalidated by the curative provisions of former G.S. 55‑36.1 and formerArticle 12 of Chapter 55 as they were immediately prior to such effective dateshall be valid and effective to the same extent as if those provisions had notbeen amended or repealed.  The provisions of former G.S. 55‑36 shallcontinue to apply to all instruments executed before July 1, 1990, to whichthat section applied.
