§55‑8‑02.  Qualifications of directors.

The articles of incorporationor bylaws may prescribe qualifications for directors.  A director need not be aresident of this State or a shareholder of the corporation unless the articlesof incorporation or bylaws so prescribe. (1955, c. 1371, s. 1; 1989,c. 265, s. 1.)
