§58‑26‑5.  Certificate of authority to do business.

Before any such company mayissue any policy or make any contract or guarantee of insurance, it shall filewith the Commissioner a certified copy of the record or the certificate of itsorganization in the office of the Secretary of State, and obtain from theCommissioner his certificate that it has complied with the laws applicable toit and that it is authorized to do business.
