§58‑33‑115.  Adjuster acting for unauthorized company.

If any person shall act asadjuster on a contract made otherwise than as authorized by the laws of thisState, or by any insurance company or other person not regularly licensed to dobusiness in this State, or shall adjust or aid in the adjustment, eitherdirectly or indirectly, of a claim arising under a contract of insurance notauthorized by the laws of the State, he shall be deemed guilty of a Class 1misdemeanor.
