§ 58‑33A‑55. (Effective July 1, 2010) Continuing education.

(a)        An individual whoholds a public adjuster license and who is not exempt under subsection (b) ofthis section shall satisfactorily complete a minimum of 24 hours of continuingeducation courses, including ethics, reported on a biennial basis inconjunction with the license renewal cycle.

(b)        This section shallnot apply to any of the following:

(1)        Licensees notlicensed for one full year before the end of the applicable continuingeducation biennium.

(2)        Licensees holdingnonresident public adjuster licenses who have met the continuing educationrequirements of their home state and whose home state gives credit to residentsof this State on the same basis.

(c)        Only continuingeducation courses approved by the Commissioner shall be used to satisfy thecontinuing education requirement of subsection (a) of this section.  (2009‑565, s. 1.)
