§ 58-50-70. Punishment for violation.

§58‑50‑70.  Punishment for violation.

Any company, association,society, or other insurer or any officer or agent thereof, which or who issuesor delivers to any person in this State any policy in willful violation ofArticles 50 through 55 of this Chapter, shall be guilty of a Class 3misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished only by a fine of not morethan five thousand dollars ($5,000) for each offense; and the Commissioner mayrevoke the license of any company, corporation, association, society, or otherinsurer of another state or country, or of the agent thereof, which or whowillfully violates any provision of Articles 50 through 55 of this Chapter.
