§58‑55‑15.  Scope.

This Article applies to long‑termcare insurance policies in this State.  This Article does not supersede theobligations of any person subject to its provisions to comply with otherapplicable laws and rules if those laws and rules do not conflict with thisArticle.  The laws and rules established to govern Medicare supplementinsurance policies shall not apply to long‑term care insurance.  A policythat is not advertised, marketed, or offered as long‑term care insuranceor nursing home insurance is not subject to this Article.
