§ 58-63-50. Penalty.

§58‑63‑50.  Penalty.

Any person who willfullyviolates a cease and desist order of the Commissioner under G.S. 58‑63‑32,after it has become final, and while the order is in effect, shall forfeit andpay to the Commissioner the sum of not less than one thousand dollars ($1,000)nor more than five thousand dollars ($5,000) for each violation, which if notpaid shall be recovered in a civil action instituted in the name of theCommissioner in the Superior Court of Wake County. The clear proceeds offorfeitures provided for in this section shall be remitted to the Civil Penaltyand Forfeiture Fund in accordance with G.S. 115C‑457.2.
