§58‑88‑25.  Application for benefits.

Applications for benefits fromthe Fund shall be made to the Secretary‑Treasurer under the followingconditions and procedure:  Within 30 days after the contracting of a disease orthe occurrence of accident for which benefits are sought, the chief or chiefofficer of the local department shall notify the Secretary‑Treasurer inwriting that the person applying for benefits is a member of the Fund andrequest the necessary forms from the Secretary‑Treasurer's office to besubmitted for the benefits.
