Part 10A. Conversion to LimitedPartnership.

§ 59‑1050.  Conversion.

A business entity other than adomestic limited partnership may convert to a domestic limited partnership if:

(1)        The conversion ispermitted by the laws of the state or country governing the organization andinternal affairs of the converting business entity; and

(2)        The convertingbusiness entity complies with the requirements of this part and, to the extentapplicable, the laws referred to in subdivision (1) of this section. (1999‑369, s. 4.8; 2001‑387,s. 139.)
