§ 62‑314. Violating rules, with injury to others.

If any public utility doing business in this State by its agents oremployees shall be guilty of the violation of the rules and regulationsprovided and prescribed by the Commission, and if after due notice of suchviolation given to the principal officer thereof, if residing in the State, or,if not, to the manager or superintendent or secretary or treasurer if residingin the State, or, if not, then to any local agent thereof, ample and fullrecompense for the wrong or injury done thereby to any person as may bedirected by the Commission shall not be made within 30 days from the time ofsuch notice, such public utility shall incur a penalty for each offense of fivehundred dollars ($500.00).
