§63‑92.  Effect of General Assembly review.

(a)        If the GeneralAssembly or the Joint Legislative Commission on Governmental Operationsdetermines that the proposed change is in the best interests of the citizens ofthis State, then the Division of Aviation of the Department of Transportationshall notify the Federal Aviation Administration of the General Assembly'sofficial position on the pending application or rule change when it submits theState's official position on the pending application or rule change.

(b)        If the GeneralAssembly or the Joint Legislative Commission on Governmental Operationsdetermines that the proposed change is not in the best interests of thecitizens of this State, then the Division of Aviation of the Department ofTransportation shall notify the Federal Aviation Administration of the GeneralAssembly's official position opposing the pending application or rule changewhen it submits the State's official position on the pending application orrule change.
